BANGKOK: The popular resort island of Phuket in southern Thailand reopened to international tourism on Thursday (Jul one) later on COVID-19 halted arrivals for more than a twelvemonth.

The experimental tourism initiative has been welcomed past tourism and hospitality businesses. They promise it will assistance restore Phuket as one of the top international tourist destinations.
